How do I graduate with Honors?
To complete the Associate in Arts Degree with Honors, you must do the following:
- Complete 60 credit hours of course work in the Division of Arts and Sciences. Fifteen (15) of these credit hours must be earned in Honors courses. These must include:
- IDH 2001-06, The Honors Seminar (3 credits).
- IDH 1107, The Competitive Edge (1 credit)
- Achieve a 3.30 cumulative GPA
- Submit a portfolio to the Honors Director which demonstrates your honors-level achievement in the following core academic areas; writing, research skills, critical thinking, and rhetorical and logical analysis
- Make a successful oral presentation using visual aids and/or technological enhancement
- Complete and log 25 hours of service-learning
- Complete any additional requirements for your Associate in Arts degree
