Registration Due February 29
The 2008 Heartland Senior Games will take place March 1 – 30, 2008 in Highlands County. Events will be open to men and women 50 years and older who will compete against other athletes of the same gender and age group. The Heartland Senior Games are sanctioned by the Florida Sports Charitable Foundation and serve as a local qualifying event for the Florida State Games.
The purpose of the Heartland Senior Games is to promote physical fitness, good health, and a competitive spirit among those seniors who live active lifestyles and to inspire those who may not.
The 2008 Heartland Senior games will include the following events:
Basketball, Billiards, Bocce, Bowling, Cycling, Golf, Horseshoes, Pickleball, Shuffleboard, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track & Field, 5K Fun Walk
