Lifetime Learners

The Lifetime Learners program is a member-centered organization that offers short-term educational opportunities for individuals 50 years of age and older. Lifetime Learners classes and trips provide a relaxed environment in which these adults can develop new interests while experiencing intellectual stimulation.

The 2008 season will begin with a series of day trips, starting in October and running through March. The classroom sessions will be held on Thursday mornings from January through March. Group trips to places of interest are an important part of the Lifetime Learners program and are designed to enhance the learning experience. Topics and discussions for the season will include:

Ecology
State and Local Politics and Government
Music and Art
Healthy Living
Rivers and Waterways
