This room seats approximately 150 comfortably. Seating is auditorium style and can be used for large lecture classes. Each seat is powered with electricity, so students can plug laptop computers into outlets on the side of their seats. The seats also contain desks that fold out. This room is fitted with wheelchair stations on the front left and right sides of the lecture hall. The Presentation Podium contains: · Laptop with Internet & DVD/CD Rom · Podium microphone · Elmo Document Camera · Smart Notebook & Smart Symposium · DVD/VCR player · Lapel microphone · Surround Sound Speaker System · Large Projection Screen · Computer Projector · Large White Boards
Most notable feature is the Smart Podium at the front of the room. It’s a touch podium that uses a wireless touch screen. It allows an instructor to walk around the room and control a VCR, DVD player, PC, visual presenter, or even two-way interactive video conferencing. |
