General Education Subcommittee

Initial main tasks of this peer-review committee will be to:

  1. Assure college-wide assessment rubrics are used to evaluate data collected during Fall term
  2. Assure all required sections on Gen Ed data reporting form are completed
  3. Communicate with individual instructors if more information is needed
  4. Look for learning trends
  5. Conduct orientations and wrap-up meeting with faculty selected to collect data
  6. Submit a yearly assessment report to the AQC
  7. Guide AQC as to needed change or recommendations for improvement
  8. Contribute to the promotion of general education across campus
  9. Create/Review/Maintain general education information published in college catalog and on the website
