Krista Schult is in her first year coaching at South Florida State College and will develop the women’s cross country program.

Schult graduated from Washington High School, in Two Rivers, 2001, where she  became state champion in the 4x400m relay. She continued her running career at University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, where she competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field. Schult earned her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. In 2007, she relocated to Sebring, Fla. after being hired to teach at Woodlawn Elementary School.

She was the head coach for the Sebring High School girls’ cross country team for five seasons. During that time, Schult’s team qualified for the regional meet four times, and she earned Highlands County Girls’ Cross Country Coach of the Year each season she was coaching.

While not coaching, Schult enjoys spending time with her husband Matthew, sons Myles, and Ryder. Schult has continued with her running since college and has completed two full marathons, eight half marathons, and countless 5Ks.
