Cosmetology – CC 

Earning a Career Certificate (CC) in Cosmetology prepares you for entry-level employment in a hair styling salon.

  • Students learn in a modern, well-equipped, school-operated salon
  • In the salon, students perform services on one another and mannequins at first and then, as skills advance, local patrons and other students
  • Guest speakers from Spa Girl International, Scruples Hair Care, and Surface Hair have visited campus to speak with students about the industry
  • Upon completion, graduates are eligible to apply for the Florida State Board of Cosmetology examination

Length: 1,200 contact hours (approximately 10.5 months)
