New SFCC Panther Den Online/D2L Users

Although SFCC ETC doesn’t offer specific PC advice nor support home computers, the following solutions have worked for several PCs:

¨ Make sure you have the latest Flash Player available at www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer.

¨ If you have Yahoo’s toolbar, make sure you allow popups from http://online.southflorida.edu.

¨ If you get a yellow bar under the address box, right click and select Download File.

¨ If the tutorial doesn’t load within a few minutes,

¨      Windows XP users may try to use Window’s Update for operating system updates.

¨      Windows Media Player users may use the media player update.

¨ If Earthlink is your Internet service provider, and you see a “fist,” consider revising your security settings (pop-up blocker)
