Adult High School (AHS)

The Adult High School program is open to students 16-19 years old who either achieve scores of 11.0 on all sections of the Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE) or pass the College Placement Test, have 10 or more high school credits, and pass the HSCT or the FCAT.

Students may transfer in credits from any public, private, or home school program.  The Adult High School offers distance learning classes through Florida Virtual High School.  Additionally, some students may be eligible to participate in advanced programs such as dual-enrollment or the Honors Program.  A South Florida Community College High School Diploma is awarded upon completion of the required credits and passing the High School Competency Test (HSCT).
