The Cosmetology Program prepares the student to sit for the State of Florida Cosmetology Examination, and for entry level employment in the Cosmetology profession. Activities involve the use of a modern, well equipped, school operated salon. During the first 200 hours of the program, students perform laboratory services on manikins and each other. After completion of 200 hours, laboratory services are performed on local patrons as well as other students. Course content includes, but is not limited to, hair design, chemical re-formation, hair sculpturing, chromatics, histology of hair, skin, nails, nail care, skin care, and make-up.
