This course covers painting, sculpture, and architecture from the Prehistoric Era to the beginning of the Renaissance including relations of styles to cultural context. An introduction to transparent and opaque water color painting. Emphasis is on compositional design and the use of media and equipment. Prerequisite: ART 1300C-1301C or instructor's approval. Lab Fee. (TR)
