Kim Crawford, SFCC Head Volleyball Coach Kim Crawford, a former Lady Panther and three time college All-American middle blocker, starts her sixth year at South Florida Community College as its Head Volleyball Coach. Crawford started her volleyball career at SFCC, where she amassed 901 kills and 597 total blocks. Two of her records still stand today: Season Kills (552) and Blocks in a Match (25).
Crawford then played at Florida Southern College, where she graduated with a Physical Education/Recreation degree. At Florida Southern College she earned two first team All-American awards and Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year her senior year. She recorded 1101 Kills at FSC as a middle blocker. She also recorded 79 solo blocks and 148 block assists.
Crawford went on to play professionally in Europe for two years (1996-1998), on the Bud Light Professional Beach Tour for Team Nike (1996) and on the Professional California Grass tour (1996).
Crawford has been trained at the National Level by Olympic coaches and has worked with Olympic athletes. She brings a wealth of playing experience and technical knowledge to the court. Contact me at: Phone: 863-784-7037 Email—kim.crawford@southflorida.edu
Charlotte Bauder, Assistant Volleyball Coach Charlotte Bauder begins her third year as assistant coach at SFCC. She began playing at Lake Placid High School and continued playing for the SFCC Lady Panther Volleyball team during the 1999-2000 seasons.
After graduating from SFCC, she attended Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2000-2001, where she played middle and outside hitter.
Bauder coached volleyball at Lake Placid High School in 2003 and Club Crush Juniors in 2005. She is currently a certified personal trainer at Florida Hospital Fitness Center.
Bauder looks forward to continuing the SFCC tradition of hard work and discipline. “This 2008 team has what it takes to push us to the next level.” |
