College-Level Academic Skills Test:
College-Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST) is required for the A.A. degree or for entrance to an upper level university program at a Florida university. A student may register to sit for this test after completing 18 college credit hours including English I & II and 6 hours of college level mathematics. The test measures basic college-level skills in essay, reading, English language, and mathematics. The test is scheduled in February, June, and October of each year on Saturday morning and lasts about four hours. Students may also meet the CLAST requirement by alternate means (see CLAST exemption's in the College Catalog). Review materials are available in the Learning Resource Center. The College Bookstore has CLAST review books and sample questions are available in the Testing Center.

Students with specific disabilities may request test accommodations such as extended time, large print, Braille, and audiocassettes.  These students should first contact the College’s Disabilities Specialist prior to testing to determine the appropriate accommodations that are needed.
