Student Activities Board

Text Box: For many years, the Student Activities Board has acted as the student government organization of the College.  The Board is responsible for approving, funding, and monitoring all student clubs and activities. It currently supports approximately 20 clubs. The Board is also responsible for organizing and implementing social, cultural, and art events, book fairs, guest speakers, dances, Community College Week, blood drives, and other special student events.  It also provides partial funding for the Athletic Programs.  Currently enrolled students annually elect the President and Vice President.  These officers plus one representative from each of the clubs and athletics make up the entire Student Activities Board.  They meet monthly.
