April 1, 2005, Avon Park – An Opening Fit For “The King”
In his only Florida appearance this year, “The King” opened the FACC Region IV Spring Conference at South Florida Community College with a rousing medley of his favorite hits.
As he circulated through the audience crooning and teasing his fans with his signature red scarves, “The King” Singled out a few of the ladies for special attention, ending his song with a trademark smooch.
Not your everyday Conference opening, “The King” stole the hearts of his audience and swept out of the room to a standing ovation.
