The Information Technology (IT) Department provides leadership and support for the effective and efficient use of information systems in learning, communication, resource management, and decision-making.
The IT Department oversees a broad range of campus-wide computing, communications services, and information resources. IT provides computing support for college employees, technical support for Smart classrooms, audio/visual equipment support and college-wide server and application services. Communications resources consist of electronic mail, college network connections to the Internet, and a Voice Over IP telephony system. A large amount of information resources are also supported including Web, application, database servers, Banner ERP system and Web self service product.

To provide customer service for all faculty and staff who use these information services, the IT Help Desk was established as the direct point of contact.
The IT Department and Help Desk are located on the Highlands Campus, first floor of Building I, behind Human Resources.
Help Desk support is available 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., weekdays, except for college holidays by calling 863-784-7462 or e-mail: email@example.com.
