Career Development Center
Career Center Job Postings:
The SFCC Career Development Center provides expanded job-seeking service through partnership with Heartland Workforce Region 19 via access to Employ Florida Marketplace (EFM).
The EFM system links all of Florida's state and local workforce resources to each other and provides information about thousands of jobs available locally and across the state. The system allows self-registration for job seekers and employers, serves as a powerful tool to assist job seekers, and helps employers who are looking for the best candidates to fill open positions. Current data available on EFM includes a strategic mix of job openings, career exploration, employer information, education, and labor market research information.
Career Center staff assist SFCC students with registration for EFM, help them identify appropriate job openings, and refer them to those positions for which they are well qualified. Public clients will be referred to their local Heartland Workforce Region 19 office and provided general information about EFM.
