Steps to Enrollment in Teaching Certification Program
Step 1: Application
Apply online through
PAWS, or submit completed
admissions application to the Office of Admissions at any
SFCC campus or center. If you are uncertain about a specific major, use the “undecided” code (0003) and our counselors will help you choose the appropriate designation at your advising session. Once your application has been processed completely,
you will receive an acceptance letter to SFCC.
Step 2: Teaching Certificate
Submit a copy of your teaching certificate at the time of application.
Step 3: Registration
Students are encouraged to register for classes online with
PAWS.

Step 4: Payments
Non-payment of
any fee by the payment deadline will result in all classes being dropped. Fees can be paid online through
PAWS, at the Cashier’s Office in the Cornelius Student Services Complex, or at the nearest
SFCC campus or center.
Step 5: Parking Decal
You may obtain a parking decal at the Cashier’s Office in the Cornelius Student Services Complex or at the nearest
SFCC campus or center.
