Florida College Entry-Level Placement Test (CPT)
Florida College Entry-Level Placement, commonly called the CPT Test, is a Florida version of the College Board’s Accuplacer Common Placement Test, used by all state of Florida community colleges as their common placement test. The untimed computerized format takes approximately two hours, and no computer experience is necessary to take the test. An advanced 24-hour appointment notice is required. Call (863) 784-7214 for an appointment. Please see the links below for CPT practice sites. After placement testing, see an academic advisor in Student Services to discuss your test results.
To take the CPT:
- You must schedule an appointment (see schedule below for CPT testing times) at least 24 hours in advance.
- You MUST present an appropriate photo ID at time of testing which has your name and signature and a recognizable photograph. The following are acceptable:
- A current driver’s license
- A current passport
- A current SFCC ID
If you are not an SFCC student, there is a fee of $20.00. An appointment and proper identification still applies.
