3034 | Landscape and Horticulture Technician
The College Credit Certificate (CCC) program in Landscape and Horticulture Technician prepares you for employment in the horticulture and landscape industries as nursery worker, landscape and groundskeeping worker, landscape or horticulture professional, landscape supervisor, production and nursery supervisor, and horticulture technician. Course content includes, but is not limited to, instruction pertaining to an understanding of plant physiology and growth, plant nutrition and fertilization, plant classification and identification, pest management, pruning and shaping plants, maintenance of landscape plants, equipment maintenance, and employability skills. Credits will articulate directly toward the A.S. degree in Landscape and Horticulture Technology (Program #1620).
