South Florida State College’s Graphic Design Support – College Credit Certificate program teaches you the basic concepts of graphic design and prepares you to become a graphic design assistant.
Graphic designers develop and design a wide range of materials, including advertising, brochures, posters, newspapers, magazines, books, catalogs, signage, product packaging, and websites. SFSC’s Graphic Design Support program is comprised of five classes that cover:
- Introductory graphic design concepts and theory
- Image editing and photo enhancement
- Graphic layout
- Graphic illustration
- Typography
- Color theory
- Publishing techniques
- Website design
- Using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
This program can be completed in two semesters. Students earn 15 college credits that can be applied to an Associate in Science (AS) degree in Computer Programming and Analysis (#1610).
