Everblue is an IT vendor for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). FDACS. Everblue has developed internet-based (IBT) license exams for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), which are to be administered to candidates at South Florida State College’s Testing Center via a web browser. Exams will be administered in accordance with FDACS’ requirements and Everblue’s Test Center Administration Guide. Most exams will be 2 hours in length, with some as short as 1 hour and a few extending to 3 or 4 hours.
PROCTORING STANDARDS:
Candidate Identification: Before the exam begins, a valid government-issued ID is required.
Prohibited Items and Behaviors:
- Aside from materials provided in the exam itself, all exams are closed book tests. The use of calculators, notes, dictionaries, or any reference materials not provided within the exam session is strictly forbidden. ○ A calculator and reference materials will be provided on screen during the exam.
- Mobile devices (e.g., cell phones) are prohibited.
- Smartwatches are not allowed.
- Headphones or earbuds are not permitted during the exam.
Scratch Paper: Proctors may provide scratch paper or a small whiteboard to perform hand calculations during an exam. All used and unused scratch paper must be returned to the proctor and destroyed at the end of each exam.
Accessibility: Exam candidates must receive approval from FDACS prior to their exam to receive any accommodations.
