South Florida State College (SFSC) is dedicated to providing digital platforms and communications that are accessible to all users. SFSC consistently updates its online material to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and complies with applicable federal and state accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
The College invests in tools and systems to ensure that all improvement efforts are focused on current policies and practices. Accessibility is an ongoing effort. While we strive for full compliance, some content may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. We are actively working to remediate identified issues to improve usability and accessibility for all members of our community.
SFSC maintains a cross-functional WCAG Committee that meets regularly to review compliance efforts, monitor remediation progress, and respond to user feedback.
