Highlands Campus (Avon Park) Testing Center
All tests given at the Highlands Campus are by appointment only and require at least 24 to 48 hours advance notice, however, this varies according to each exam. Please be aware that the types of tests given and testing times vary by SFSC location.
When scheduling your exam, ask about the type of photo ID you will be required to present as this varies depending on the exam. If you do not present an acceptable photo ID on your testing date, your exam will be rescheduled until you can acquire the required form of ID.
If you have a documented disability and need accommodations to take your test, you may make arrangement by contacting the disabilities specialist located in the Advising and Counseling Center, Room B-152, before your testing appointment.
Only testing candidates are allowed in the testing center. Children and guests are not permitted and they may not be left unattended outside of the testing center or any other area of the College during testing.
Electronic devices and personal items are not allowed within the examination area. These are stored in a secure locker while you take your test.
Due to possible varied temperatures in testing rooms, it is recommended that you dress in layers to avoid feeling too hot or too cold during a test.
The Testing Center is located on the second floor of the Dr. Catherine P. Cornelius Student Services and Classroom Complex (Building B), Room B255.
