Dec. 29, 2025 – Teachers, your night out is calling. The funniest teacher-comedians on the planet are back with brand new material, bigger laughs, and a fresh round of classroom-inspired chaos on the Bored Teachers “Is It Friday Yet?!” Comedy Tour at the Alan Jay Wildstein Center for the Performing Arts at South Florida State College (SFSC) in Avon Park.
With 20 new April and May dates just announced, the tour will kick off on Thursday, Jan. 15 in Avon Park, Fla. and the spring leg of the tour will conclude on May 17. This wildly popular tour will be hitting 50 cities across the U.S.
Since launching the tour in 2022, the Bored Teachers Comedy Tour has sold out theaters in nearly every U.S. state and across seven provinces in Canada, expanded internationally to the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand, and performed in front of more than 200,000 teachers worldwide. With over one billion video views, 10 million followers, and the No. 1 teacher-comedy podcast, Bored Teachers has become the go-to brand for educators everywhere seeking laughter, community, and a little comic relief.
One teacher described the show as “the night out we needed to make it through the school year.” Another joked, “I just wish it was eight hours long like a real PD session.” Even non-teachers rave that it’s one of the funniest comedy shows they’ve ever seen.
“Teachers spend their lives giving everything they have for their students,” said one Bored Teachers comedian. “This tour is about giving something back—an unforgettable night of laughter and connection. Judging by the response, it is exactly what teachers need right now.”
But it’s not just for educators. Anyone who has ever been in a classroom, dealt with a parent-teacher conference, or struggled to keep a straight face during a staff meeting will find the jokes hilariously relatable.
Founded by former teachers James and Marilou Tarantino, Bored Teachers started as a grassroots social community built on the hilarious truths of life in education. Almost a decade later, it has evolved into the world’s leading teacher-entertainment company producing viral sketches, stand-up tours, podcasts, articles, and content that spotlight the struggles, joys, and absurdities of the profession. Today, Bored Teachers is not just a media company, it’s a global movement that gives teachers a voice, a laugh, and a place to belong.
Tickets for the one-night-only performance at SFSC are $32-$45. Tickets are available online at sfscARTS.org, by phone at 863-784-7178, or by visiting the SFSC Box Office located at 600 West College Drive on the Highlands Campus of SFSC.
