Other Considerations

Students may take PHY 2053C and PHY 2054C, or PHY 2048C and PHY 2049C instead of CHM 2210C and CHM 2211C.

For the major of Biotechnology students will need both CHM 2210C/2211C and PHY 2053C/PHY2054C or PHY2048C/2049C

For the major of Biotechnology, STA 2023 is required, not MAC 2312.

For the major of Microbiology/Bacteriology, either MAC 2312 or STA 2023 is required.

Students may complete MAC 1147 instead of MAC 1114 and MAC 1140 if they completed MAC 1105 with a grade of B or higher.

The prerequisites for this major exceeds 60 credit hours.  Students may incur excess hours and may not be eligible for additional financial aid.
