AVON PARK, Fla. – Oct. 2, 2017 – South Florida State College begins its spring and summer registration in October. Priority registration for students with 20 or more hours for SFSC’s 2018 spring 16-week, spring and summer flex sessions is going on now. Open registration for all other students begins Oct. 16. Spring Term 2018 classes begin Jan. 3.

Returning students may register and pay for classes through the college portal, Panther Central, which operates 24 hours a day. To access Panther Central, visit the college’s website and click the Panther Central link on the right. Then click the student tab to access registration, financial aid, and payment options.

The SFSC Office of the Registrar accepts walk-in registrations Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Fridays, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Students can register in Building B on the Highlands Campus and at the Desoto Campus, the Hardee Campus, and the Lake Placid Center.

New students can apply for admission by visiting the college’s website at www.southflorida.edu. Click Apply Now at the top right, and complete the Application Form. Following admission to the college, new students must meet with an academic advisor to register for classes.
