Adult Education

The Adult Education Program is an integral part of the total academic program of South Florida Community College.  A variety of courses and programs are offered to meet the needs and interests of people in Highlands County who are 16 years of age or older.  Adult Education programs are classified as follows:

· Adult Basic Education (ABE)

· English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

· General Educational Development (GED)

· Adult High School (AHS)

            

Community Education Program

The Community Education Program offers courses and personal enrichment activities designed to improve student competencies or to enhance the quality of life.  The College provides numerous non-credit classes, workshops, seminars, special programs, and other enriching educational experiences to meet the community’s various needs and interests.  Please click the Community Education link for more information.
