Dr. Christopher van der Kaay

Dr. van der Kaay is a proud triple alumnus from the University of South Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Gerontology (Aging Studies), and a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education with a cognate in Instructional Technology. In addition to his current position, he has served SFSC in various other capacities, including adjunct instructor, adult education director, institutional effectiveness officer, quality enhancement plan director, and chief information officer. Prior to joining SFSC, Dr. van der Kaay was a district-level instructional technology coordinator and science/math teacher for the Hardee County School System. He also held graduate research and teaching assistantships at the University of South Florida.
