Your Pathway to Become a Biologist
A Biologist studies the human body, plantlife, marinelife, and the environment. These individuals can also be classified as marine biologists, educators, biological researchers, ecologists, biostatisticians, horticulturists, biotechnologists, or microbiologists.
Biologists are essential for understanding living things and:
- supervise biological technicians and scientists

SFSC’s Associate in Arts in Biology:
- is 62 credit hours
- takes approximately two years to complete
- can be started in high school through dual enrollment
