South Florida State College has been awarded a $5 million U.S. Department of Education Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) STEM grant to improve access to and success in degrees and career fields in science, technology, engineering and math for Latino students in the Heartland Region. 

The Re-Engineering Our Future program offers students the opportunity to become highly paid innovators, educators, researchers and workers who will lead tomorrow’s workforce to solve the challenges facing our world today and tomorrow. 

These areas of study and focus are vital to both the future of our region and the future of our children. STEM-related jobs lead to financially rewarding careers, help build communities and transform families.
