Ms. Garren serves as the director of cultural programs and is responsible for the operation of the 1,460-seat Alan Jay Wildstein Center for the Performing Arts, the 250-seat University Center, and the Museum of Florida Art and Culture (MOFAC). She books artists for the Cultural Arts Program, negotiates artist and rental contracts, writes grants and raises funds, and supervises a full-time staff of six and a part-time staff of 20+. Ms. Garren is responsible for generating revenue through ticket sales and fees, sponsorships, and earned revenue streams. She leads the Cultural Advisory Committee for the College and participates in meetings as an administrator and member of the President’s Council.

Ms. Garren is a member of the Highlands County Tourist Development Council, Florida Presenters, and the Association of Arts Presenters. She serves on the board for the United Way of Highlands and Hardee counties and is a member of the College’s Equity Committee.
