An Elementary School Educator relays information and advice to students through instruction, engagement, assignments, and exams. Their work is important for all throughout the community because they educate individuals and improve their lives through knowledge and training. There are specialization areas such as elementary education, secondary education, and subject area concentrations. 

Elementary School Educators are essential for all communities and:

  • teach children the skills and knowledge they need to grow
  • educate youth to prepare them for their future
  • advise students on their academic potential

SFSC’s Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education:

  • requires an associate degree prior to enrollment
  • is 60 credit hours
  • takes approximately two years to complete
