Your Pathway to Become a Registered Nurse
A Registered Nurse (RN) cares for patients under the supervision of the physician or mid-level provider in collaboration with the entire healthcare team.
RNs are essential for patient care and:
- administer medication
 - operate lifesaving equipment
 - monitor patient recovery and progress
 - educate patients and their families on prevention and post-procedure care

SFSC’s Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN):
- is 72 credit hours
 - takes approximately two years to complete
 - prepares students for the NCLEX® for licensure
 - is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)

Plan your future by following the ADN Program Map or the Transition (LPN to RN) Program Map.
